Guided Photo Walk

Join us for an inspiring photography walk through the heart of Stockport! Whether you're shooting with a smartphone or a professional camera, this event is all about exploring your passion for photography in a friendly, supportive environment.

The first hour will include finding out what you love to photograph, why you do it, and what you'd like to learn, then we’ll form small groups and head out into Stockport’s urban landscape. Each group will be led by an experienced photographer who’ll offer tips on composition, camera settings and more. On our return to Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery at 3pm, there will be some well-earned refreshments and a chance to share your photos from the day.

Accessibility: The walk involves being on your feet (or using a mobility aid) for the duration, with rest stops as needed.Refreshments will be provided at the beginning and end of the event.

Alas, there are some restrictions and conditions we have to make you aware of. Regrettably we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of ten. Children aged eleven to eighteen have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
