Join Texas A&M Forest Service's Morgan Abbott, Regional Woodland Ecologist of Brazos Valley and East Texas, on a Guided Forest Immersion experience has been rescheduled for June 25th at Lick Creek Park from 6pm-7:30pm.
There will be t-shirt and book giveaways, including Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Members, nonmembers, and children are invited to attend!
Certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, Morgan's walks will take you on a mindful saunter through the urban forest, exploring all the senses and embodying the benefits that we all can receive from nature.
This immersion has been curated to set aside our roles as a do-ers and embrace our existence as a being-ers. In other words, come spend time in the forest to be with the forest.
This experience is open to all ability levels and ages.
