About this Event
Guided Beer Off-Flavour Tasting and Sensory Training
Sensory Training has grown in popularity as more people enter and engage with the craft beverage industry. It is a fun way to challenge your senses and to learn about beer in a new way! In this guided tasting you will learn how to smell, taste, and identify 6 common off-flavours in beer, as well as gain knowledge on how they are formed and how to prevent them. Using flavour spikes from the Siebel Institute of Technology, this professional, educational experience will increase your knowledge and skill in detecting and identifying these compounds, while having a ton of fun with your friends! Are you blind to certain aroma and flavour components? Find out at this event!
