Location: Meet at the Rangers' Hut, Meanwood Park Car Park, Green Road, Meanwood, Leeds LS6 4LD

We will take a walk through the park, using bat detecting equipment to locate bats in flight, spotting different species and talking about the life of bats in Meanwood Valley.
Booking essential . This is a FREE event, but places are limited.
If you have any questions, please email Friends of Meanwood Park at [email protected].
Friends of Meanwood Park is a voluntary group meeting once a month to do a range of ecology- and conservation-related activities in the Park, helping keep it rich in wildlife and beautiful for everyone who visits the Park. We rely on volunteers so please consider joining us. We also rely on donations to help maintain our basic equipment and supplies. If you wish to donate - and there is no pressure to do so - there will be an opportunity to donate by card/cash on the night. Finally, the ideal torch to bring is a red bicycle light (rear light) which is good for the bats, but don't worry if you don't have one.
