Join us April 13th and 20th as we welcome Steve (and Pam) Thornton - guest speaker - to Cornerstone Baptist Church.Steve will be preaching the 13th at the 9am and 11 am services; teaching Sunday school; then again preaching during the 6pm evening service.
On the 20th, he will bring a message for the 9AM and 11AM services, but the church is hosting an EASTER SUNDAY BREAKFAST during the 10am Sunday School hour. He'll close out Easter Sunday with another message at 6pm.
Steve Thornton has been in the ministry for 43+ years. He pastored 2 churches in Ohio for 10 years and was a missionary in Argentina for 33 years. In that time he has started 3 churches, built a Youth Camp, and trained 20 men who are now pastors.
He started Shepherds Care Ministry helping small churches and churches without pastors in August of 2024.
He and his wife, Pam have been married almost 45 years and have one daughter, Monica.
Sunday April 13th:
9AM - Early morning service
10AM - Sunday School for all ages
11AM - Late morning service - same as the 9am service
11AM - Children's Church for ages 4-12
6PM - Evening service - different message from the morning
(Nursery available during 10AM, 11AM, and 6PM services)
Sunday, April 20th: EASTER SUNDAY SERVICES AND BREAKFAST
9AM - Early morning service
10AM - EASTER BREAKFAST provided by the church
11AM - Late morning service - same as the 9am
6PM - Evening service - different message from the morning
(Nursery available during 10AM, 11AM, and 6PM services)
We would love to see new and returning faces at any and all of the above services.
Breakfast will include: Biscuits and gravy, breakfast casseroles, coffee, juice, and an array of other tasty foods.
