Sheldon Seale returns this year to the Brant Fly Tyers & Fly Fishers.He will be demonstrating the tying of the following flys:
Coney Leech
Hook: 3x or 4x long streamer, sizes 2 to 6
Thread: Black
Body: Red wire, medium
Tail/wing: Black Zonker strip
Schminnow
Hook: 2x long nymph or streamer,sizes 6 or 8
Thread: White or olive
Eyes: Bead chain or nylon or metal to match hook size
Tail: Marabou, white or olive
Body: Crystal chenille in white or olive
Canadian Hamill's Killer
Hook: 3x or 4x long streamer, sizes 2 to 6
Thread: Black
Tail: Black squirrel tail or bear (body length), topped with Golden Pheasant tippet (half body length)
Body: Yellow chenille
Wing: 2 matched (left and right curve) dark green dyed Mallard flank, tied flat
