Petrina Peart can cook! So much so she has been featured on two different cooking shows; Beat Bobby Flay and Yes Chef. But for those of you who know Petrina, know that her passion goes well beyond the kitchen. She has been donating her time, talent and treasure to support two programs to help feed those less fortunate.
On Friday, September 5th, Petrina will be at the Hawthorn Tree serving up her “Autumn Sunset Gazpacho,” this vibrant, refreshing blend of tomato and watermelon, evoke a cool, autumn vibe. The balsamic glaze and dried tomato tahini salt rim add a sophisticated, tangy depth, while the vegan feta, mint, dill, and dehydrated strawberries bring a playful mix of creamy, herbaceous, and sweet notes—reminiscent of a colorful sunset. It’s a bold, modern twist on a classic cold soup! $12 per cup and all proceeds will go to benefit the Wyoming Hunger Initiative and Operation Brotherly Love.
