Her music fuses raw vocal power with lush electronics, earning praise from the New York Times (“superb”) and the Wall Street Journal (“thoroughly Schubertian”). She’s written for Grammy-winning choir Chanticleer, premiered Elderflora at Seattle Symphony, and created music for Radiolab. Connery also hosts two podcasts—A Music of Their Own (NPR/CapRadio) and Reverberations (New Amsterdam Records)—and teaches from the road, appearing at colleges across the country wherever art and conversation are needed most.
