Join us for a powerful conversation bringing together local educational leaders and statewide advocates dedicated to protecting every student’s right to a fair and equitable education. This panel will explore pressing challenges and bold solutions to ensure that all children—regardless of background, zip code, or circumstance—have the opportunity to thrive in the classroom and beyond. Our keynote panelist, North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls, will share her unique perspective on the intersection of justice, policy, and education, setting the stage for a dynamic exchange of ideas and strategies to advance educational equality for all.
We will also be joined by Joanna Pendelton (GCS Teacher and President of the GCAE), Monica Walker (Executive Director of the GSC Office of DEI), and Justin Parmenter (CMS Teacher, Public School Activist, and Reporter at Notes from the Chalkboard and NC Newsline).
