Our National Shoot to Retrieve Association NW-Regional Trial is being held on April 6-7, 2024 near Emmett, ID! The trial is currently full but a waitlist is being taken for entry changes! NSTRA is the closest sanctioned event you can find to hunting. Two canines/handler teams take to the field for 30 minutes each day and are scored on upland merits such as retrieving, pointing, backing, handling, etc. Our yearly event is held on grounds on which 2 courses are setup. The courses run in valleys making the venue ideal for viewing the action for spectators. Camp is setup on course one and will be the location for all organizational meetings, score tabulation/display, lunches, dinners.
Again .. this April 6-7 event is full but a waitlist exists for canine/handler teams to receive entry's which cancel prior to and during the event. If you would like an opportunity to be on a standby list please reach out to the GSPCI and we'll get you in contact with the event Chairperson or see the attached information below. This is a great event to participate and/or spectate - we hope to see you in Emmett April 6-7..
