Greater Together: Celebrating 52 Years of Transformation
Join Greater Southwest Development Corporation for our 2026 Gala, honoring Dennis Ryan, Vice President of Mission Effectiveness and External Affairs at Sinai Health System, whose career has spanned decades of health, community, and organizing work on the Southwest Side.
For 52 years, GSDC has worked across the same three square miles — supporting small businesses, homeownership, affordable senior housing, and the 63rd Street commercial corridor. This evening celebrates that legacy while raising support for the next chapter.
The Evening
Join us in the Solarium Room at South Shore Cultural Center for a standing reception featuring live jazz, a local marketplace, a tribute film honoring Dennis Ryan, dessert, and remarks from community leaders — including a special address from the MacArthur Foundation.
