DESCRIPTION
This month at GRWebDev powered by LaFleur Marketing we are diving into the world of DevOps! We’ll hear from a talented panel of local software engineers as they unpack topics ranging from deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and more. Whether you’re curious about DevOps or a seasoned back-end developer, there will be plenty to take away from the discussion. Join us in the third floor atrium above San Chez downtown on Tuesday, May 28th at 6pm!
OUR PANEL
Noah Jahn is a DevOps Engineer at SPARK Business Works, where he builds and maintains AWS infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu and automates deployments via GitLab CI and GitHub Actions. He also builds custom software applications for SPARK’s clients leveraging various JavaScript/Typescript frameworks such as Quasar and Directus. When Noah is not immersed in code, he can be found jamming on his ukulele, playing video games with his friends, or sipping on some homemade ginger beer.
JP Grusling is a software engineer with fifteen years of experience, coding in Terraform, C#, Typescript or whatever a project may need. His work is primarily in website development, infrastructure and deployment, but he started his career building industrial video inspection desktop applications. Currently, he is a Software and DevOps Architect with Fusionary, working with clients such as CeriFi, ArtPrize and Frederik Meijer Gardens.
Kendell Joseph is a software engineer specializing in cognition, multi-media and quantum informatics. He enjoys working to push and understand the limitations of technology and our shared human ability to bring change.
OUR MODERATOR
Chris Butcher is a Senior Software and Release Engineer in FinTech at Magic Wrighter. Inside of the development world he has a passion for automation, testing, and security. He is pretty ok at riding bikes and really ok at eating burritos.
