Grupo Martillada is a compact vibes-led quintet with the BIG sound! Combining edgy New Yorican sophistication with the classics of Latin and contemporary jazz, it’s the sound of percussive melodic energy!
The band has come together from across the musical spectrum of session players stylistically and literally from around the world of Latin, pop, soul, the jazz legacy Dave Hammer (USA/UK)- vibraphone/percussion
Roberto Pla (Colombia/UK)- timbales/bongos/percussion
Satin Singh (India /UK)- congas Seb Singh (India/UK)- piano/vocals
Michael Dunlop (UK!/UK!) - double bass
