Grown Up Field Trip: Game On

Get your game on and compete with and against your friends throughout our three levels of exhibits. Take on a variety of games including Mario Kart on our five-story IMAX screen, a life-size version on Hungry Hungry Hippos, Nintendo-themed mini golf, and more! Plus, take time to play your way through our exhibit halls—beer-in-hand and kid-free.

• Race time, BIG TIME—like five-stories-tall type of big. Battle your friends in a Mario Kart experience you cannot get anywhere else.
• Hold my drink, it’s Hungry Hungry Hippos. Up for a challenge? YOU are the hungry hippo in this full-body push cart game.
• Practice your shot and take down the Creepers in Pool Noodle Minecraft.
• Cue up your best word for our giant collaborative game of Scrabble.
• Play your way through our exhibit halls while sipping a cold one from our good friends at Pherm Brewing Company.
• It couldn’t be a putt-astic par-tee without a round of mini-golf with a Mario World twist.
• Plus a few more gaming surprises!

This event is a part of the Maryland Science Center’s Adult Programs and is for ages 21+. A valid ID is required upon arrival. Admission includes participation in all on-floor activities and access to selected exhibits. Drinks will be available for purchase from Pherm Brewing Company. Mario Kart time slots are available while supplies last—select your race time at check out. This event is expected to sell out.

All proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Maryland Science Center.
