Take one day to escape from the hustle and bustle of life, reduce stress, and anxiety by engaging in the focused fun of coloring. Each student will receive a coloring book and pack of colored pencils to keep. They will learn the coloring techniques of blending, cross-hatching, hatching, stippling, burnishing, and layering. Coloring activates the part of the brain responsible
for creativity and stimulates the production of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and relaxation.
