Grown-Ass Pizza Party X Fight For The Cure - OTTAWA -Crust & Crate (Ep. 38)

Pizza parties were everything, so we made it grown. And now for the first time ever we’re bringing the party to Ottawa’s East End at Crust & Crate (Ogilvie).

This one’s special. George Hanna, President of Gabriel Pizza / Crust & Crate, is stepping into the ring for Fight for the Cure to raise money and awareness in the fight against cancer. It’s a battle that hits close to home for him, and for so many of us. At this GAPP, we’re rallying behind him the way we know best, with music, slices, and community. The money we raise from this night goes straight to The Ottawa Cancer Foundation in support of George!

It’s the same grown-ass formula you know and love: complimentary slices, world-class DJs, high-energy vibes, one-hour sets, no fillers, no requests. We throw a party where you can let loose, give back, and still make it home before 10.

Get ready for a seamless fusion of hip-hop, flips, edits, arabic pop, afrobeats, and all that good good that speaks to true music lovers.

1. Come in with love, vibes, and open arms: This space is dedicated to grown individuals who appreciate good pizza, good music, and a brief escape from reality for just two hours. If you need to move around, politely tap someone on the shoulder, ask for space, and always show respect. Avoid sitting, it's all standing at this party!
   
2. Air Shots and Slaps: When a tune is so good that it moves you, feel free to express yourself by raising your hands in the air or giving a friendly slap on the table, bar, or wall (just not on your ex). This environment encourages open reactions and appreciation for great music mixes.
   
3. Drink Responsibly: We consider you all friends, and while we want you to have a great time, it's important to consume alcohol responsibly
   
4. Lights, Camera, Discretion: We want you to be in the zone, groove to some tunes and enjoy the vibes. We will film all of the moments of the night, so smile when you're in front of the camera!

One of the founders of Grown-Ass Pizza Party, DJ So Nice is an Ottawa turntablist known for sharp cuts, clever blends, and an open-format style that always keeps the floor moving. With years behind the decks, he brings both technical finesse and party-rocking energy, setting the tone for what GAPP is all about.

A veteran of Ottawa’s nightlife and a true scene builder. His sets stretch from hip-hop and R&B to soca, reggae, house, and everything in between, fueled by decades of crate-digging and community building. MACE has created and curated some of the city’s most beloved events—including Oohfest, Sole Day Party, Rewind Canada, Carivibe, BamBam, RNB Period, and HipHop Period—cementing his role as both DJ and cultural connector.

Raised in Ottawa and now repping Toronto, ‘B TONG is the vibe controller of every event he hosts. He’s the co-founder of GAPP, the voice on the mic, and the guy who makes sure no one’s standing still. With dancer’s energy and comedian’s timing, he keeps the room lit and the DJs hyped.
