Our very own Bayside Growling Grass frogs are happily growling in the Reserve. These endangered and charismatic frogs have very high standards. One absolute must from a Growler perspective is ROCKS, ROCKS AND MORE ROCKS. These rocks provide basking sites as well as providing thermal mass to heat the water and protect against the deadly Chytrid Fungus. We have been working with Bayside City Council to make our Growlers proud. With your help, we raised $2000 to purchase beautiful basalt rocks. Now, we need your help to move these rocks into the perfect, sunny locations, so our Bayside Growler community can grow and thrive.
We ask that if you are coming, that you:
• Arrive on time, so that you can be there for the safety briefing
• Wear appropriate footwear-closed shoes
• Bring a trolley if you have one
