Growing What Works: Imagining the Future of Community Action in Portsmouth
About this Event
What could volunteering in Portsmouth look like in 100 years?
As our city changes, how might communities come together to support one another? What traditions, values and acts of kindness will still matter, and what new ways of connecting could emerge?
Join GoodGym Portsmouth for a creative workshop exploring the future of volunteering and community action. Through photography, storytelling, conversation and collaborative activities, you'll reflect on what makes volunteering meaningful today and imagine how communities might grow stronger in the future.
Whether you're already involved in your local community or simply curious about the role volunteering can play in shaping tomorrow, this workshop offers a welcoming space to connect, share ideas and co-create a vision for the future. Participants are invited to bring a photograph (digital or printed) that represents community, connection or volunteering to them.
