Per Scholas Baltimore is proud to host our 2nd Annual Community Conversation on the State of Hiring in Baltimore, bringing together employers, workforce development leaders, educators, community organizations, economic development partners, job seekers, and residents for an open and engaging discussion about Baltimore’s workforce ecosystem.

This year’s theme, “Keeping Baltimore Talent Home,” explores how we can work together to ensure Baltimore residents have access to meaningful career opportunities that allow them to build successful futures right here in our city.

Together, we’ll discuss:

• Current hiring and workforce trends in Baltimore
• The skills employers are seeking today and for the future
• Challenges and opportunities related to talent retention
• Education and training pathways that connect residents to quality careers
• The role of employers, educators, nonprofits, and community partners in strengthening Baltimore’s workforce

Whether you are an employer, educator, workforce professional, student, community leader, or simply someone invested in Baltimore’s future, this conversation offers an opportunity to share perspectives, learn from others, and explore solutions that can help create a stronger and more inclusive economy for our city.

Last year’s event sparked meaningful dialogue, fostered new partnerships, and highlighted innovative approaches to workforce development across Baltimore. We look forward to building on that momentum and continuing the conversation.
