About this Event
Think early March is too cold to garden? Think again!
Join the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library and Clean North for a hands-on intro to growing native plants through winter sowing in containers. You will get to sow a container (with one of several species of native plants that bees and butterflies love) and take it home with you! It should stay outside -- native plant seeds need a period of moist cold to germinate.
Fun for people of all ages. All supplies are provided, and this event is free!
Workshop hosts are Clean North's Abby Obenchain and Bill Cole.
