We are delighted to invite you to the Growing in Research Together — NIHR SW Peninsula Conference 2026, bringing together students, practitioners, researchers and supporters from across the South West Peninsula for a full day of talks, workshops, poster presentations and prizes.
This conference is a celebration of the incredible work being done by our NIHR INSIGHT Studentship, NIHR HCP Internship and NIHR INSPIRE communities — and a chance to look ahead at what comes next for health research in our region.
What to expect on the day:
🎤 Opening keynote from Professor Sallie Lamb
🗣️ Student elevator pitches — hear researchers share their work in one minute!
🖼️ Poster presentations and lunchtime poster tour
🏆 Prizes for the best poster presentations
🔬 Interactive workshops — including table discussions, creative activities and more
🎤 Closing keynote from Professor Ruth Endacott
☕ Refreshments, lunch and an afternoon sweet treat — all included
