Growing & Thriving: A free workshop for our 60+ neighbors | Education Center | Thursday September 24, 2026, 1:30PM–4PM | FREE
Milwaukee-area residents 60 and older—plus a guest—are invited to spend an afternoon with the beauty and nostalgia of the Domes.
With Interpretive Educator Pete Stobie, you'll explore our world-class plant collection, learn hands-on houseplant skills (watering, soil, light, repotting), and take a guided tour of the Tropical or Show domes.
The best part? You'll choose a plant from the gift shop, repot it in a beautiful handmade pot, and take it home with care instructions to keep it thriving.
Free and made possible thanks to the generous support of Bader Philanthropies. Pre-registration is required, and if you're bringing a guest, please register them too. (One workshop per person, per calendar year.)
