About Stephanie

Stephanie Burden, co-owner of Denver Spore Company, brings 3 years of experience guiding others on their mushroom cultivation journeys. She specializes in providing basic growing knowledge for all-in-one bags and micro dosing best practices. Drawing on her background, Stephanie educates, assists, and answers questions for those starting out with growing and micro dosing.

Denver Spore Company was founded in 2019 by Eric Burden, whom has 17 years of mycology experience. The company focuses on supplying quality mushroom genetics, beginner friendly techniques and resources, and excellent customer service. Stephanie utilizes her Doctorate in Education and 8 years of teaching experience to connect with customers in a patient, empathetic way. Though she felt burnt out as a teacher, her strengths suit her well for helping aspiring mycologists. Stephanie has enjoyed learning from a knowledgeable professional and enjoys forming new connections and knowing she has aided someone's unique journey, which motivates her daily work across Denver Spore Company's operations.

When not working, Stephanie stays active with her dogs, travel, surfing, and making earrings.
