Join us on Tuesday mornings during term time for outdoor nature adventures!Each week we will go on a nature walk around the allotments looking for seasonal treasures such as birds, insects, trees, worms, snails and spiders, wild flowers, leaves, animal footprints as well as admire all the fruit and vegetables that plot holders are growing.
There is a micro orchard on site, honey bee hives and a beautiful wooden hut where we will stop for nature crafts.
Children will then have an opportunity to play on the grass before heading home.
All activities are child led by our experienced play worker Kirsten.
Toilets on site open in April. Please ensure bladders are empty! You are welcome to bring a potty along to use in the privacy of our shed.
We will meet at the pedestrian entrance to the allotments on Sunny Bank Road, Sutton Coldfield.
Meet at 9:55 for a 10am start.
Sessions are mostly outdoors, so all attendees must be dressed for the days weather.
