IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop directly follows Sewing Skills Lab. The core Sewing Skills Lab course will provide the instruction and practice to complete the group project. Without instruction from Sewing Skills Lab, you you will only be provided with a phycical pattern piece, fabric, materials and written instruction to complete the project. Meaning, you must posess the sewing skill needed as no instruction is given in this workshop. Add on Skills Lab for $5 off when signing up for Group Project.

Welcome to Group Project, an opportunity to put your sewing skills to work by upcycling your existing wardrobe in a group setting. In group project you will utilize a targeted sewing skill to amplify your apparel. Each month, directly after Sewing Skills Lab we will go into Group Project working together while completing a personalized upcycle project. This month's Group Project will focus on adding in-seam pockets (side pockets). Bring 1-4 items from your wardrobe that need pockets and get to upcycling!

This workshop incudes:

Physical pocket pattern piece.

Physical Instructions for adding pockets.

Fabric options to choose from when adding pockets to your wardrobe.

Thread and other sewing materials.

No need to stay the full workshop if you finish your upcycle project early this is a free flowing event!
