Kaia FIT Sierra's second hike of the 2024 I Kan Klimb program (happening throughout our Kaia Cup BRIK boot camp) will be Cross Peak near the Caughlin Ranch area of Reno, starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, with Coach Lisa. Please plan on arriving before the start time in case you need extra time to find the group (see directions below).
This is a free Share The Love-style event that is open to men and women. Children are welcome as long as they can handle the level of this hike. Dogs are welcome as long as they interact well with other dogs.

CROSS PEAK:
Explore this 2.6-mile out-and-back trail near Caughlin Ranch. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete and has an elevation gain of 551 feet. The trail transitions from a paved path, to dirt, to a rock scramble at the end. From the peak, we will have amazing views of the Truckee Meadows and the setting sun.
DIRECTIONS:
From Reno: Exit 1-80 at West McCarran Boulevard and head south for approximately 1.7 miles before turnng west on Caughlin Parkway. Follow the road for 1.2 miles and turn left on Bitterroot Road. The paved trailhead is .3 miles ahead with street parking available.

Our program philosophy goes much further than just a fitness workout. We designed Kaia to fit into every woman's schedule. Our year-round program includes three yearly BRIK sessions that we believe are the cornerstones of health and fitness. By building a solid foundation of strength, endurance and nutrition during these six-week BRIK programs, we train our bodies and our minds to take on multiple challenges simultaneously. We carry these foundations into our five-week Core sessions (two in between each BRIK boot camp). Each session is loaded with innovative workouts and nutritional support that are specific to the season.
