Group Braiding Masterclass — What to Expect
This 2-day intensive course is designed for absolute beginners with no prior braiding experience. You'll learn professional braiding techniques in an intimate setting with only 3-4 students per class, ensuring personalized attention from Kimberly.
Day 1 — Saturday, June 27 (8am-12pm) We start with braiding theory, hair types, and salon setup. You'll learn proper hand positioning, grip techniques, and tension control before practicing the three-strand braiding method on natural hair. By the end of Day 1, you'll be confidently sectioning and braiding with professional form.
Day 2 — Sunday, June 28 (8am-12pm) We move into extension work, teaching you feed-in methods and seamless box braid installation. You'll learn hot water sealing, professional finishing techniques, dips, and client aftercare.
You'll leave with a completed braided practice piece and your Certificate of Completion.
What's Included: All braiding hair, styling supplies, professional-grade comb, braiding jam, edge control, and sectioning clips are provided. Mannequin heads are available for purchase separately ($45).
What to Bring: Just yourself and a notebook if you'd like to take notes. Wear comfortable clothing — you'll be working with your hands.
