Teams of with pros, amateurs, hobbyists, families, and friends from across Piedmont NC start the weekend with a genre, character name, line of dialogue, and a prop to include in a film. Just 48 hours later, they meet the challenge and submit a complete short film. Each film group is different! Filmmakers are present for a post-screening Q&A session. The audience also votes for their favorite films, and the film with the most votes takes home the Audience Favorite award for their group.
