At the same time he was co-founder of Lines Dance Academy in Hillsboro, Oregon. His brother and him are also known worldwide as international male duo champions. Ashley is from Los Angeles, California. She was a local and national salsa/bachata champion; her expertise included focusing on dance technique and salsa acrobats. She was part of a well-known company, Grizzly Dance Company. Together, Benny and Ashley focused on strength, power, speed, and technique to add a different aspect to salsa dancing. They have competed in different improv competitions (Fusion Salsa Fest; Salsa Heat) and world class competitions (World Salsa Summit) obtaining 1st and 2nd places. Together they teach worldwide; attending the prestige salsa dance festivals. Now they have added a different challenge to their career by opening a dance academy in Seattle named Baila District.
