Join us for Grounds Day Cleanup, a morning of giving back to the land we love! 🌿
We’re excited to partner with the Alabama Coastal Cleanup as one of their official zones this year. Together, we’ll clear trails, spruce up play spaces, care for the creek, and remove litter that doesn’t belong in our forests or waterways. Every bag filled makes a real difference for our children, our community, and the Gulf ecosystem we all depend on.
Whether you’re a parent, student, alumni, or friend of Nature Connect, this is a chance to roll up your sleeves, get outside, and make a tangible impact.
What to Bring
- Sturdy shoes & work gloves
- A refillable water bottle
- Sunscreen & bug spray
- A picnic blanket or chair if you’d like to linger after
Safety & Tips
- Stay hydrated and take breaks often.
- Children must remain with their grown-ups.
- Please be mindful of delicate plants and creek habitats.
- If you find heavy or unsafe items, mark and report to a Zone Captain.
