Grounding & Presence For Men - 4 week group📅 Starting Thursday 28th May
🕖 6pm–8pm, every Thursday for 4 weeks
📍 Be Different Studio & Holistic Healing Rooms, Central Napier

Our men are often doing it tough because there aren't many spaces where they can be open and honest without judgment or someone trying to fix them.
This is why we have created this space.
The Men's Grounding & Presence Group is a 4 week circle focused on the core personal and relational skills of presence and grounding with yourself, in your relationships, and in the moments that matter most.
I ran a men's group earlier this year. What struck me was how quickly men relaxed into honesty when they felt safe. Sharing what was on their mind, having real conversations and leaving lighter than they arrived.
In this round we will be working with some key themes for men right now;
Week 1 Presence & Grounding With Self
Who are you underneath the roles, the responsibilities, the noise? We start here. Grounding meditation and practices that bring you back to yourself.
Week 2 Presence & Grounding in Communication
Most men have never experienced being truly heard without someone jumping in to fix or advise. We'll work with communication practices that change how you listen and how you speak.
Week 3 Presence & Grounding in Emotional Moments
What happens in your body when things get hard? Breathwork and somatic practices to help you stay grounded when it counts at home, at work, in conflict. Communication skills that work when things get tough.
Week 4 Integration & What Now?
What do you take back into your life? Your relationships? Your work? This session is about making it real beyond the circle.
Somatic work, breathwork and grounding practices are woven through every session not as theory, but as tools you'll actually use.

I'm Clare Babbage. I've been working with men in group and individual spaces for over 20 years. Yes, I'm a woman running this circle. I've found that can actually make it easier for men to drop the performance and just be honest. I'm not here to compete. I'm here to hold the space.
