Immerse in the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda to overcome the effects of stress, anxiety and over-stimulation naturally.
During the 3 hour workshop you can expect to learn and experience GROUNDING practices to:
- Tone the Vagus nerves and understand how to influence the nervous system.
- Understand the impact of stress and anxiety on body, mind, emotion and spirit (the Koshas).
- Soften and stabilise the parts of the body implicated with the lower chakras (legs, feet, pelvis).
- Activate Apana and Samana vayu: the downward flowing and deeply integrating energy currents within the body that enable grounding.
--Asana, Pranayama, bandha, mudra, mantra, yantra, meditation(s).Abhyanga (warm oil self massage)
- Calm with Ayurvedic Moon Milk
-- with a cooking demonstration to learn about Ashwaghanda*
- Journal and reflect on philosophy and contemplations with stationery and workbook provided.
- Develop a Dinacharya (morning and evening routine) to ensure youโre enabling grounding habits for best results daily.
*Alternatives offered if contraindicated.

Trauma aware facilitation
Nat is dedicated to offering a space facilitated with awareness of trauma. Given the nature of this session, here are some trauma-aware inclusions:
- Lots of time and space to move or not move as you wish. This is the main reason the session is 3 hours - so that when offered different practices, you have the opportunity to try things, trouble shoot things and or try something different.You will not feel rushed or directed to do anything. Rather, you will be invited and supported regardless of your personal intention and needs.
- You will not have to introduce your self or share anything with the group.
- There will be no physical touch offered as part of the practice (for this session only).
- I will not come into your space unless you raise a hand to help you move bolsters etc.You will receive two emails from me reminding you about the session and offering you info about what to expect, which is handy if youโre feeling uncertain about the space.
