The Grounded Athlete provides advanced strategy and hands-on application for programming for athletic performance. Strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists and other professionals that work and train athletes will walk away from this 2-day course with strategies and tools that can easily be implemented on Monday to improve the experience and performance of athletes at all levels!
Encompassing 8-sections, Grounded Athlete links performance training principles with decades of coaching experience. Each section opens with outlining the foundations and thought process of content, followed by interactive lab segments.
Lab highlights:
Application, Technique, Cuing, Progression, and Regression.
At conclusion of course, attendees will have the foundations to:
1| Integrate scientific practices with Spooner Sports Institute principles to create dynamic and comprehensive strength and conditioning programs
2| Increase program adaptability by identifying variables to modify common supplemental exercises
3| Identify and account for stressors encountered in sport movements
4| Combine science with the art of coaching for enhanced outcomes
