Please join us as we make history and break ground for the Escambia County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Memorial Plaza.
"Our current memorial has been a solemn site of reflection, where we remember the lives lost in the line of duty. But we dream of something more - a memorial that doesn't sit apart from us, but welcomes us in. A space that invites families, friends and neighbors to gather, to grieve, and to find peace together." -Sheriff Chip W. Simmons.
The program will begin at 2:00pm in front of the Sheriff's Office with refreshments available inside immediately following the ceremony.
