Groundbreaking Ceremony - DVC Engineering Technology Building

Join us for DVC Pleasant Hills’s groundbreaking celebration for our new Engineering Technology (ET) building!

The ET building will transform classrooms and labs to meet the needs of today’s students and tomorrow’s industries.

This 33,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will showcase programs in construction, engineering, manufacturing, electronics technology, industrial design, and more. These programs already lead students into careers in industrial automation, robotics, and electric vehicles and the new building will accelerate those pathways.

The building will feature high tech learning spaces, including:

• a CNC lab
• 3D printing facilities
• a CAD lab
• a machine shop
• robotics, electronics and electrical labs

These spaces will expand hands-on learning, deepen partnerships with top employers, and equip students for rewarding careers in high-demand fields.
