A West Coast silent disco gathering of music, movement, and connection.
About this Event

Join Ground to Grow for a gathering created for those touched by infertility, pregnancy loss, and the emotional complexity of this path.

All proceeds support Fertility Friends Foundation, a charity that provides grants to help improve equitable access to fertility care across Canada.

Ways to join:
  • in person in Victoria
  • in person in Vancouver via livestream
  • from home anywhere across Canada via Zoom

Inspired by Night 1 in Toronto, a Fertility Friends Foundation fundraiser in collaboration with Day 1 Fertility, Ground to Grow AND Groove is a West Coast gathering on April 16. As they dance in Toronto, we’ll be gathering at the same time on the West Coast to move, connect, and raise funds for others on the path to growing their families.

The evening begins with a welcome and opening words, followed by a guided music and movement journey grounded in The 360 Emergence practice. There is no choreography, no pressure, and no right way to participate, only an invitation to join in whatever way feels most comfortable. The evening also includes a live acoustic song, a grounding practice, and a closing ritual with stones offered into the ocean. Come as you are, and feel welcome to bring a friend or support person.

Join in the way that works for you

  • Bring your own headphones and phone to stream on Zoom

From home (join from your own space by Zoom)
  • Anywhere across Canada
  • Use your own headphones and phone, tablet, or computer
  • Move, listen, and take part in the experience from home

** All registrants will receive the Zoom recording afterward for ongoing access (note: the zoom camera will only be capturing the DJ and people speaking at the event)

All proceeds support Fertility Friends Foundation.

This is an inclusive event and everyone is welcome. If cost is a barrier, a limited number of freely offered tickets are available. Please email Ground to Grow to inquire - [email protected]

A gentle note

This evening is being created with care for those on the fertility path and/or healing in their journey. To support the tenderness of this space, in-person gatherings are adult-only and for those who are not currently pregnant. Pregnant people and families are warmly welcome to join by Zoom from home. Every path carries its own tenderness, and all are welcome here.

What to bring
  • Dress for the weather and bring layers
  • Wear something comfortable to move in
  • If joining from a satellite location, bring your own headphones and cell phone and make sure they are paired together in advance.

You do not need dance experience. You do not need to know anyone. You do not need to arrive feeling a certain way.

You are warmly welcome to come as you are.
