The Grossman Ensemble, comprising "some of the best contemporary players in the city" (Chicago Reader), takes the stage for its first concert of the 21-22 season. Vimbayi Kaziboni, a Zimbabwean-born conductor and curator known for his imagination and expressivity, leads the Ensemble in the world premiere of four new works created through the group's unique collaborative workshopping process. The program includes new music by composers Baldwin Giang, Dongryul Lee, Amy Williams, and Krzysztof Wolek.

All event attendees aged 12+ who are attending public Music Department events must provide proof of vaccination.
