Paris-Roubaix is the greatest classic of them all, the ultimate monument. Raced since 1896, it’s known as the Queen of the Classics—ironic since women had never been able to grace the start line. In 2019, Specialized made a big statement, “Let the women race.” And in 2021, there it was on the calendar, October 25th: Women’s Paris-Roubaix.

The first women’s Paris-Roubaix was bigger than women’s racing, bigger than cycling, bigger than women in sport. It was a moment for women worldwide.

Follow Specialized film crews embedded with SD-Worx as they prepared for and raced the first edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes. From the cobblestone recons to post-race emotions, Specialized was there to capture it all, even speaking to some legends of women’s racing to help us put it all in perspective.
