A Hip-Hop Revelation for the Younger Generation
presented by the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte & The Experiential Theater Company
This reimagining of classic fairy tales follows Jay and Will Grimmz, the hip-hop and dance-pop sensation brothers, who have returned to the city where they grew up to give a concert putting a modern spin on classic fables. Their updated take on the Grimm Brothers’ 19th-century collection of popular folklore features remixes such as “Snow White and the Seven Shawties,” “Down with Rapunzel,” “Hansel & Gretel: Lost in the Streets” and their first featured “granny-winning” song, “Cinderella Remix”. The entire family will be amazed and educated with this “hip hop revelation for the younger generation” including outstanding singing, dancing, rapping and timely life lessons for today’s kids.
