Tähistame režissöör Grigori Kromanovi 100. sünniaastapäeva tema filmiga "Põrgupõhja uus vanapagan" (1964)!
Inimesena maa peale minnes on Vanapagan kindel, et töö ja allaheitlikkuse läbi on sealses elus võimalik õndsaks saada. Tema naabrimees Kaval-Ants peab seda veidruseks, mis tema isiklikke plaane siiski ei takista. Antsu abi ja nõu Põrgupõhja elu korraldamisel läheb Jürkale, tema naisele Juulale ja nende lastele väga kalliks maksma, kuid Jürkal jätkub pikka meelt ja usku oma eesmärgi saavutamisse - kuni päevani, kus Ants leiab, et enam pole tal Jürkast mingit kasu.
Film on eesti keeles, ingliskeelsete subtiitritega.

We celebrate the 100th anniversary of director Grigori Kromanov with his film "The Misadventures of the New Satan" (1964)!
When going to live on Earth as a human being, the Devil believes that through hard work and submissiveness it is possible to become blessed one day. His neigbour, a cunning guy Ants, laughs at the Devil's plans since these do not disturb Ants' life. He gives the Devil good advice with managing his farm named Põrgupõhja (Hell's Bottom), even if this help will cost a lot for the Devil and his family. Despite that, the Devil remains patient and keeps his faith in order to achieve his goal - until the day when Ants discovers that the Devil won't be of any use for him.
The film is in Estonian with English subtitles.
