Griffo & Sonoma Valley Jazz Society Present Gin & Jazz
About this Event
Griffo & Sonoma Valley Jazz Society Present: Gin & Jazz
We're jazzin' it up at Griffo with Sonoma Valley Jazz Society for our monthly Gin & Jazz Night — an evening of craft cocktails, musical mischief, and jam session, led by Joe Kelner & Chris Amberger — who will set the groove, with rotating players and a hot mic ready if you want to jump in!
Whether you’ve got serious chops, dabble on your instrument now& then, or just know good jazz when you hear it, you’re welcome at the jazz jam session. Come for the music, grab a bite from our Sabor Food Truck whose proceeds benefit Sonoma Family Meal, a delicious craft cocktail from the Griffo Team, and see where the night takes you!
No script. No setlist. Just good spirits & good people gettin' in the groove!

About Sonoma Valley Jazz Society:
SVJS is where the sound of the wine country finds its rhythm. Sonoma Valley Jazz Society curates unforgettable live jazz experiences while nurturing the next generation of musicians, blending culture, community, and artistry into every performance.
Our Mission: The purpose of the Sonoma Valley Jazz Society is to enhance the appreciation of jazz as an American musical art form through live jazz performances and education in Sonoma Valley. We bring together our community by providing an opportunity to see, hear and meet top quality Jazz artists. We also sponsor Jazz education for young aspiring musicians in our area.
Our Story: In May of 1989 a small group of Jazz lovers decided to bring live jazz to the town of Sonoma. We are a small non-profit 501(c)(3) organization solely funded by donations made by local citizens and business owners. The board is made up of a staff of all volunteers (no paid positions). We have been producing quality Jazz performances in Sonoma Valley since 1989.
