For years hikers have requested for this annual tradition to return and we're happy to say, we're back! THE GRIFFITH PARK FESTIVAL of LIGHTS HIKE

Meet Time 3:30PM
Start/Hiked Time 4:00PM (SHARP)
There's no better way to kick off the holiday season!
COLOR THEME: RED, BLACK and HOLIDAY LIGHTS

Clothes, Hats, Backpacks, Walking Stick, etc.
Bring Night Lights, Glow Sticks too!
THIS HIKE IS ALSO A DONATION DRIVE.
We are requesting BLANKETS & SOCKS
They are a specialty hospital caring for children and young adults with extremely fragile health conditions, ages 1 to 20. Many of our patients are unable to attend school, so our amazing teachers bring the classroom to their bedside.
This holiday season, we’re collecting cozy socks and soft blankets to bring comfort, warmth, and a little joy to our students during a time that can be challenging for them and their families.

But due to the amount of people attending this hike we don't recommend bringing pet(s).

Griffith Park Merry Go Round Parking Lot #2.
4730 Crystal Springs Drive
Los Angeles, CA 90027
LOT 2 IS THE SECOND PARKING LOT.
You must drive through Lot 1 in order to get to Lot 2.

We will hike from The Griffith Park Merry Go Round Lot 2 to a The Helipad At Griffith Park, then continue through the back side of Griffilth Park and return back down near The Old Zoo.
This round trip hike averages 6 Miles and takes approximately 2.5 Hours (depending on the group's pace}.
Color theme is RED, BLACK & Holiday Lights
LIGHT UP YOUR:
Clothes, Hats, Backpacks, Walking Stick, etc.
Items to bring are plenty of Water, Snack or Meal, Flashlight, Trail Running or Hiking Shoes are Mandatory.
Please arrive early enough to stretch and hydrate prior to arrival.

**Dress appropriate for the season (hike or athletic attire).
**Hydrate prior to arrival and Bring plenty of water.
**On Night Hikes: Flashlights are required.
**Bring a Snack or Meal.
**HIKING Shoes or Trail Running Shoes are required.
**Bring your Great ATTITUDE!
**We love our 4 footed friends, but do to the amount of people attending we do not recommend bringing pets.

1. It is the responsibility of the HIKER to carry full and complete insurance information (health or otherwise) coverage on her/his personal effect as well as that of personal property.
2. HIKER acknowledges and agrees that this is a voluntary group hike, has the option to not participate freely and wantonly at their discretion prior to said activity.

HIKER agrees to assume ANY AND ALL RISKS INVOLVED OR ARISING FROM THE GROUP HIKE including, without limitation but not limited to, the risks of death, bodily injury, property damage, falls, kicks, bites, collisions with vehicles, horses or stationary objects, fire or explosion, the unavailability of emergency medical care, the negligence or deliberate act of another person.
