Grieving During the Holidays: A Supportive Grief Workshop
About this Event
The holiday season can bring joy and connection, but for those experiencing grief, it can also bring an unexpected wave of sadness, loneliness, memories, and difficult emotions.
Join therapist Megan Kelly, LCSW-C, for an intimate grief and healing workshop designed to help you navigate grief during the holiday season. In the welcoming setting of B. Willow, we’ll create space to acknowledge what you’re carrying, connect with others who understand, and explore healthy ways to move through grief during the holiday season.
What to Expect
This intimate workshop will include:
- Brief psychoeducation about grief
- Guided reflection and journaling
- Practical coping strategies
- Using plants/plant elements as a meaningful tool for remembrance and reflection
- Opportunities for connection and conversation
- Time for quiet reflection
- Creating meaningful rituals to honor someone you've lost
- A welcoming, judgment-free environment
You do not need to be “over” your grief to attend. You simply need to show up as you are. Whether your loss is recent or happened years ago, you are welcome.

About the Facilitator
, LCSW-C, is a seasoned licensed clinical social worker who facilitates compassionate, supportive spaces for people navigating grief and life transitions.Her expertise in trauma recovery, emotional regulation, grief support, and gardening enables individuals to better understand and respond to the experiences of stress, adversity, and trauma. Drawing on advanced training in CBT, EMDR, Ego State Therapy and Master Gardening, Megan helps translate complex concepts into practical strategies.
About the Space
Hosted at B. Willow's private event space, this intimate gathering offers a cozy environment to pause, reflect, and connect during what can be a challenging time of year.
Come as you are. There is no “right” way to grieve. Please note, the space is located above the shop and requires climbing one flight of stairs.
