About this Event

Grieve, Lead, Rise: A 2-Hour Immersive Experience

Dive deep, heal your heart, step up, and soar higher in this powerful 2-hour real-life journey.

Here's what nobody tells you about being the strong one: it's exhausting in a way that sleep doesn't fix.

You've built a career. You show up. You lead. And somewhere in between the strategy decks and the family dinners and the "I'm fine," there's a grief you've been quietly carrying — for the life you expected, the version of yourself you haven't become yet, the things you were never given permission to mourn.

This event is for you. We will dance, meditate, reflect and connect.

Grieve, Lead, Rise is two hours carved out just for South Asian women who are tired of holding it all together in rooms that were never built for them. No agenda. No performance. No explaining yourself.

We'll move through sound healing that reaches what words can't, a guided meditation that brings you back to yourself, joyful movement and dance that remind your body it's allowed to feel good, and group coaching with a workbook you'll actually want to return to.

You'll be in a room with women who get it — not because you'll have to explain your culture or your grief or the weight of expectation, but because they already know. They're carrying it too.

This isn't therapy. It's not a self-help seminar. It's a breath. A beginning. A few hours of being genuinely held — so you can go back into your life with a little more room inside yourself.

You'll leave with:

  • A sense of having been truly seen and held by women who understand your specific brand of strength
  • Reconnection to your own inner knowing — the voice underneath the noise
  • A reflection workbook filled with your own words to come back to
  • Renewed hope that you can grieve and lead — that you don't have to choose

Space is intentionally small. 8 women. That's it.

→ Reserve your seat today. Registration closes 48 hours before the event.

About Manpreet Dhillon

Manpreet Dhillon has spent over 25 years working at the intersection of people, systems, and power — and she's done it across some of the most complex organizational contexts in the world.

She is the Founder and Principal Inclusion Officer at Veza Global, a Canadian consultancy helping governments, tech firms, UN bodies, and international NGOs build equitable, inclusive cultures. With over 25 years in EDI, HR, leadership coaching, and internal audits, she takes a systemic, human-centered approach to organizational change — grounded in her work across higher education, technology, and the international NGO sector.

She is also a contributing author to Chicken Soup for the Soul and Forbes, ranked #15 on the 2020 EmPower Ethnic Minority Future Leaders list, and a King's Coronation Medal recipient.

But here's what the credentials don't tell you: Manpreet knows what it is to grieve professionally and personally while maintaining the appearance of having it together. She knows what it's like to be the capable one in the room — the one nobody worries about — while carrying something heavy and unprocessed underneath. That lived experience is the foundation of Strong Daughters Institute and the reason Grieve, Lead, Rise exists.

She is a settler, born in Canada with parents from India, living with an invisible disease and advocating for others who live with it too. She brings her whole self to this work — not just her CV.

Manpreet holds a Master's in Organizational Management and is a Certified HR Professional, Certified in Gender Mainstreaming, and a Certified Internal Auditor.
About Strong Daughters Institute (a division of Veza Global)

Strong Daughters Institute is the coaching and leadership platform Manpreet built for women who are done surviving and ready to rise. Where Veza Global works with organizations, SDI works with the women inside them — and the ones who've outgrown them.

SDI exists at the intersection of grief, leadership, and culture. It's for South Asian women who carry the weight of dual worlds: the professional excellence expected of them and the personal losses — unmet expectations, cultural pressure, grief that never got a proper container — they've been quietly managing alone. The work here is somatic, systemic, and deeply human. Coaching containers like The Becoming (1:1) and WHOLE (group cohort) give women a structured, supported path from depletion toward genuine transformation.

Grieve, Lead, Rise is SDI's first immersive event — a taster of what this work feels like in a room full of women who get it.
