Join us for the GriefShare 13-Week Course and Support Group, where we'll come together in person to navigate the journey of grief and loss.Date: Sunday, May 19th, 2024 to Sunday, August 11th, 2024

Description: Are you struggling with grief and loss? Join us for the GriefShare 13-Week Course and Support Group at First United Methodist Church in Des Moines.
This in-person event offers a safe space to connect with others who are also experiencing grief and loss.
Through interactive sessions, you'll gain valuable insights, practical advice, and emotional support to help you navigate through your grief and loss journey.
Each session consists of a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and loss.
After viewing the video, group members will spend time in a support group discussing what was presented in that week's video seminar and what is happening in their lives.
During the week, each participant can use their workbook for further personal study on the grieving process and to help sort out their emotions through journaling.
Colette Klier has facilitated this course previously and highly recommends this program to anyone who’s currently dealing with loss or has had a loss that’s occurred perhaps months or even years ago and is still continuing to try to work through their grief.
