Grief's Beach
About this Event
Grief's Beach is a short story exploring themes of trauma, grief and healing through coastal imagery. It explores how loss can be felt as a shipwreck, turning us to debris and throwing us up on unknown land. And it asks how we can stay connected, even in the most difficult of times.
We'll meet at Temple Cafe, Brighton, at 11am, and take a short walk down to the beach for the performance, finishing by midday. For those who want to continue the conversation, we'll make our way back to Temple for a cuppa.
Please bring suitable clothes for sun, wind, or light rain, and a camping chair if you'd rather not sit on the ground. If it's tipping it down, the performance will take place in the cafe.

This event is part of Anna's research & development project, considering how nature and performance can help us explore challenging themes. With thanks to the Arts Council for the funding.
