Grief Workshop: Making, Memory, and Collective Care with Prof. Rochele Royster
This workshop extends the Dolls4Peace project by creating a space for community members to engage grief through creative practice. Using fabric-based processes such as stitching, wrapping, and assemblage, participants will explore grief, loss, and remembrance as shared human exeriences. Participants are welcome to honor personal losses, community trauma, or ongoing grief in ways that feel safe and meaningful to them. Finished pieces will become part of the collecitve installation or may remian with the maker.
This workshop is free and open to all. No prior art-making experience is necessary.
