One thing about grief - it feels better in community. Running also loves company. I know you're out there, griever, let's run together!
About this Event
About this Event
Running can be an amazing release for grief and loss – at least it has been for me. A time to yell, cry and move grief through my system – as well as get a positive boost.
Want to come run with me? I don’t run far or fast – I’m not young (nor am I old). I’d love to have your company. Whether your grief is fresh or ancient, about a person or pet, job, relationship – all is welcome. We can share a word or two – or not – and then off we go.
3 mile-ish run (10.5-11-min mile) starting in Lincoln Park by the golden Hamilton statue near Diversey 9:00 Sunday. We will start together, meet back at the end together and in between find our own rhythm.
