Grief and Loss in the Workplace: Finding Meaning, Resilience and Renewal (in-person)
This workshop is not focused on grief in relation to death and bereavement. Rather, it invites us to name and honor forms of grief in the workplace that often go unrecognized: the loss of identity, community, confidence, vocation or connection to a mission that once felt life-giving. Grounded in grief theory, reflective practice and spiritual inquiry, the session creates a compassionate space to explore how work-related loss affects the inner life, as well as how meaning, resilience and growth can emerge alongside grief.
Special attention is given to losses that are "disenfranchised": losses that often are not socially validated, such as losing part of oneself, losing faith in an institution or losing a sense of purpose after organizational change.
