Everything is connected in the work of Candace Nicol Garlock. This retrospective exhibition addresses Garlock’s early work, including experiments with printmaking, photography, and found images. Grid-Body-Place is ultimately about the body - how we look at it, how we perceive and feel it, how the body is mediated in contemporary society, and in our memories. It is a journey through body and mind, with memory fragments, our senses and reflections, and narrative, mapped onto paper and clay.?????? ?????
